SHORT DAY PRIVATE AND PERSONAL COTSWOLDS TOUR

A SUGGESTED ITINERARY.
After collecting you from your local hotel, or, if you are coming from London, from Charlbury railway station, I will drive you through the lovely Cotswold countryside to Stow on the Wold where we will stroll for a while to enjoy the beautiful town square and the fascinating shops. After this we will visit the exquisitely pretty Upper and Lower Slaughter before moving on to the famous Bourton on the Water, the 'Venice of the Cotswolds', where we will stop for a walk along the banks of the river Windrush which meanders through this delightful Cotswolds town. We will then head for the tiny and very pretty village of Swinbrook before visiting Burford, where I was born and brought up, where I will guide you through this stunning Cotswold town, visit the important 'wool' church, and see the beautiful Cotswold house which my father built, and where I grew up. You could also choose to have lunch at a local Cotswold pub or a traditional Cotswold tea at a local tea shop.
Travelling from London:
If you are coming from London for this tour you should take the train from London Paddington to Charlbury in the Cotswolds, where I will meet you. At the end of the tour I will return you to Charlbury to catch the return train for London Paddington.

My price for a full day tour and short day tour are based on numbers of travelling guests as follows. Please note the cost of your train travel, any entry charges and refreshments, is not included.
